I've decided to start this blog as a place where I can document my thoughts and share with my friends and family about my decision to adopt a daughter from Ethiopia. While I have just started, it has proved to be quite a process. I hope this blog can serve as a place for me to connect, reflect & share.
Why am I adopting:
Adopting is an option that I've always considered whether married or now single. I'm not against having a child naturally. But I'm in a place in my life where I'm ready to start a family and adopting feels right. Those who know me understand that I make decisions from my "inner voice" and this decision in no different. I plan to go in more detail later about why I decided to adopt a girl from Ethiopia but let's just say that dreams and insects reconfirm my decision.
